Papirnato Srce

When your kids are away and you want them to know they are loved no matter where they are and how long they're gone. Or it's one of those weeks when you feel you're only there to nag them from morning 'till evening and forget to tell them how wonderful they really are.  It is one of the simplest cards I ever made, but so honest. The pandas and little heart are from my kids' sticker set. I set them on a background of die-cut leaves and Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick . Just added a heat embossed sentiment from MFT Magical Dragons  stamp set and it was ready for my little recipients. I am entering the card in  MFT Color Challenge 188

Oh how I enjoy the spring sunshine and having some peaceful moments outside listening to the birds and of course - creating with colors!! It's the time of the year for flowers and butterflies and one of my favorite stamps -    Transformation  by The Ton. For this card I first stamped and heat embossed the butterfly with embossing ink and white embossing powder on water color paper. Then I played with different combinations of Spectrum Noir Aqua markers - Floral set and two sets of colored pencils ( Cass Art and Prismacolor ) with a water brush to color this butterfly plus several others I prepared beforehand with stamping and embossing. I mounted it on a square card base with a bright green background to bring out the leaves and the card was done! I enjoyed so much playing with different embossing powder colors (black, white, gold and copper) and color schemes, I can’t wait to do more! Sending happy mail, full of love...  For this card I stamped a background stamp with envelopes on a piece of white card stock, then heat embossed it with Nuvo Fine Embossing powder - Copper blush . I added shading with  Distress Ink - Vintage Photo  and then distressed the edges with a distressing tool. I embellished the background with just a plain kraft paper die-cut from  Sizzix Bigz - Hearts #4  which I wrapped with twine. A touch of color was added with the single flower and a heat embossed sentiment. I wish you the best day ever!   Enostavna, preprosta in elegantna. Izdelana prav namenoma za čudovito osebo. Za izdelavo sem uporabila starejšo Sizzixovo kovinsko rezano šablono abecede z rožicami  'Decorative Type' in jo izrezala trikrat s pomočjo Big Shot naprave za izrezovanje. Dvakrat sem pred izrezovanjem na debelejši bel papir prilepila obojestransko lepljivo polo, da je bilo sestavljanje troplastnih črk lažje in z manj packanja, rezultat pa elegantne dvignjene črke nad podlago. Izbrala sem nežne pomladne barve kartonov v pastelnih barvah za okrasitev črk. Iz trgovine Ustvarjalni dotik sem uporabila  Naprava za izrezovanje Sizzix Big Shot ,  bel karton  in  obojestransko lepljivo polo . Hey there, birthday squirrel! :)  My heart just melted when I saw Little Fawn and Friends paper pack from  Nina Štajer .  I have yet to decide what to make of it, but this is a quick and simple card I just had to make with these adorable woodland creatures as soon as I brought it home. To make the background I stamped a kraft card with small elements from an older woodland animals stamp set and colored the squirrel from the same set with Copics before fussy cutting it. I attached the squirrel and the heat-embossed sentiment on velum circle die cut with black foam squares for added dimension and put liquid glue on the velum behind the critter and sentiment to hide it. ... the most important thing your child should know. This one was made for a very special and very loved little lady and sent to her when she was in camp away from home to remind her that she is loved and missed. This time it is  Obroč za štikanje  and  Sladke misli , embellished with selected pearls from a mix I received as a gift with my order from the always attentive Marina at  Mavelu . Learning how to sew - and on paper! You can probably tell this was the first one ;) I've never seen sewing on paper before so after noticing a few cards that didn't have the very popular die-cuts with embossed 'stitching' but actual stitches - I was so eager to give it a try! The image is  Awww Thanks!  digi from  Tiddly Inks   coloured with coloured pencils and designer paper I've had for such a long time I can't remember where it was from anymore.. I added a red ribbon and a flower punch.
